Вступление
[Verse 1]BbEbBbEb
Ye elders of Israel,
Eb
come join now with me
Bb
And seek out the righteous
Bb7Eb
where'er they may be -
BbEbBbEb
In desert, on mountain,
Eb
on land or on sea -
Bb
And bring them to Zion,
Bb7Eb
the pure and the free.
[Chorus]BbEbBbEb
O Babylon, O Babylon,
Eb
we bid thee farewell;
EbBb
We're going to the mountains of
AbBb7Eb
Ephraim to dwell.
[Verse 2]BbEbBbEb
The harvest is great,
Eb
and the lab'rers are few;
Bb
But if we're united,
B7Eb
we all things can do.
BbEbBbEb
We'll gather the wheat
Eb
from the midst of the tares
Bb
And bring them from bondage,
Bb7Eb
from sorrows and snares.
[Chorus]BbEbBbEb
O Babylon, O Babylon,
Eb
we bid thee farewell;
EbBb
We're going to the mountains of
AbBb7Eb
Ephraim to dwell.
[Verse 3]BbEbBbEb
We'll go to the poor,
Eb
like our Captains of old,
EbBb
And visit the weary,
Bb7Eb
the hungry, and cold;
BbEbBbEb
We'll cheer up their hearts
Eb
with the news that he bore
EbBb
And point them to Zion
Bb7Eb
and life evermore.
[Chorus]BbEbBbEb
O Babylon, O Babylon,
Eb
we bid thee farewell;
EbBb
We're going to the mountains of
AbBb7Eb
Ephraim to dwell.
